Crypto in Africa, still growing or slowing down?

I’ve noticed more African startups getting into blockchain, especially for payments and savings. But I’m also seeing less hype than before. What’s your take on the crypto scene in African countries this year?

Cryptocurrency is growing rapidly in Africa. But what makes it look like it is not getting more attention is because last government in Nigeria ban cryptocurrency usage in Nigeria citing security breaches by crypto exchanges. Nigeria have a very huge market and is about one third of cryptocurrency users resides in Nigeria.
