Cryptotab browser hacked easily, addresses change

I am using cryptotab browser for some transactions, and I noticed that when I was withdrawing money, the wallet address changed. Is it easier to hack the cryptotab browser and change addresses, content displayed compared to other browsers like Bing or Firefox?

I don't really have much experience with cryptotab though but I doubt it would be that easy though. If not we would have be hearing frequent news about it.

I'm not very sure but most importantly you must have a firewall and don't click unknown links that appear in your browser.

I don't really advise people to use all these browser extension wallets. They always seem to me like they are not robust enough to be stable. It is better I use a standalone wallet app.

This kind of incident has been encountered by many people, if the copy paste incident changes only in the Cryptotab browser, it means that your Cryptotab browser is infected with a virus, so the best way is for you to reinstall your operational system (Windows).
