I went to buy something from a shop yesterday and after buying, the shop owner gave me two candies. They are worth less than 10 cents combined. But that was a nice gesture. I had need for that same product today and I had to find my way to that same shop to buy. Why? Just because of the nice gesture of giving me candies. Customers don't forget nice gestures from businesses and can be loyal because of that.
 
Yes you are right, customers never forget when they are treated well by a particular shop or business owner.
When you see customers always patronize a single business, it is not just quality of products. Nice treatment is also a factor.

Yes very true, most times some customers even prefer to patronize a business that has less quality but proper treatment. Just so they can have peace of mind.
