Cutting your expenses vs working more to make additional money

If the money you are making is not enough for you to maintain your life, what would you do, would you cut your expenses or work additional hours to make extra money. If you choose to cut your expenses and if you are just paying for necessities, how would you cut your expenses. If you are already working 10 hours how would you find additional time to work for extra hours, how would you find extra work?

In my case I will do both, case the truth of that matter no amount of money is ever enough to sort out everything we want to. While I am cutting down my expenses, I will also find some extra source of income.
