Piracy
Piracy is the unauthorized reproductions or use if a copyrighted book, recording, television programme, patented investion, trademarked products e.t.c
Piracy is also an unethical behavior which amounts to a breach of copyright i.e the right given by the law to an author or originator of an Intellectual material the sole and exclusive privilege or reproducing and selling copies of his work. This is why books and phonographic recordings always have a warning like the one below boldly inscribed on them.
Sadly despite the provisions of the law against the infringement of copyrights, most patented materials are being pirated and sold at giveaway prices making the original author to loose patronage/financial returns from his investment.
