According to the report, almost a third of all Russian assaults along the frontline occur in the Pokrovsk direction. Out of 134 enemy attacks recorded by the General Staff in the past day, nearly 40 were stopped by Ukrainian defenders in Pokrovsk and Mirnograd.
The report stated that the situation remains the most difficult in these cities, as Russia continues to bring in reserves and intensify assaults. Over the past week, the enemy has lost about half a thousand personnel, a third more than in the previous comparable period.
Despite Russia throwing all its cannon fodder and strategic reserves into futile attempts to capture Pokrovsk and Mirnograd, Ukraine’s Defense Forces are firmly holding their positions, destroying the enemy within the agglomeration, on its approaches, and on the flanks. Support is being raised for the 7th Rapid Response Air Assault Forces, who continue to play a decisive role in defending Ukraine.
