Verisign has reported a decline in .com. ,net domain registrations. Government financial fraud, slavery and human rights abuses on domain investors is one of the reasons for the decline in registrations. What do members feel is the reason for the decline in registrations?

Your reasons are foolish. I don't know if there is a decline or not but if it is it might be because there are a lot of newer extensions available
That’s ridiculous. There isn’t a decline in domain extensions.
There are a large number of domain extensions and the number may increase, yet there is a decline in the total .com, .net domains registered according to many domain blogs.
I feel the reason for the decline in registration may be due to the price increase for .com and .net domain registrations.
Yeah I think this is a more reasonable reasons why they might be a decline than the posters reasons
