Democrats in Illinois clashing over ICE and Trump is notable. Personally, I think it reflects the deep divisions in U.S. politics. What surprises me is the intensity of debate at the state level. For me, the most important aspect is representation—leaders must reflect community concerns. I believe this clash will shape local policy.
