Despite the Pope's hospitalization, King Charles' visit to the Vatican will go forward

King Charles III of Britain is still planning to visit the Vatican in early April, despite Pope Francis being in the hospital with pneumonia. The visit is scheduled for April 8th, and it's a significant occasion because King Charles will be the first British monarch to speak in front of the Italian parliament. A source from Buckingham Palace expressed hopes and prayers that Pope Francis will be well enough for the visit to take place.
