For some couple of months now, the Nigerian government has vehemently been battling Binance, accusing the exchange of so many bad things. The aim was for Binance to come into a plea bargain with the government.

Binance rather responded by suspending all Naira transactions and anything that has to do with Nigeria. Do you think that Binance showed strength with that action?

Honestly I don't know what to think, but I really don't blame them for taking such action. According to some news, they said binance failed to register their firm so they can operate in the country. That by the way, if I where to be in their shoes I might have made the same decision. This is not the first time Nigeria has targeted binance and cryptocurrency in general. Two of their executives have been arrested as well. The backlash from the Nigerian government is just too much.

I believe the Nigerian government tried to bully Binance but they refused to be bullied into submission. That's the same thing they did to Twitter. I think that Binance took the right step refusing to negotiate with the Nigerian government.

I hope they review their decision and revert that decision soon otherwise it will be loser decision for nigerians for example.

The problem is that Nigeria government believed that Binance and other exchanges are loopholes through which money is siphoned out of the country. Secondly, that Binance is use black market price to exchange dollar to naira. CBN and other regulatory bodies believe this is one of the problem of naira poor performance.
