series of diplomatic incidents marked a day of tension between India and Bangladesh.The friction began when Bangladesh's Foreign Ministry "entirely" rejected statements from India's Ministry of External Affairs concerning a demonstration by Hindu activists outside the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi. Dhaka questioned how protesters were permitted near the diplomatic enclade. Subsequently, the Bangladesh High Commission suspended all consular and visa services in New Delhi citing "unavoidable circumstances," while India's visa application center in Chattogram also halted operations over security concerns
