Discount vs Rebate

As business people, of course we all often hear the terms discounts and rebates, even though they both have the same meaning as price cuts given by sellers, their application is different. Discounts are often given without any conditions on a product and are generally used by retail traders, whether supermarkets, mini markets or grocery stores. Discounts often have a deadline system or are only for certain periods.
Meanwhile, rebates are also price cuts but are applied by B2B, so in large quantities. In general, the rebate system also sets several requirements such as a minimum purchase amount, the buyer is a regular customer, the rebate also has no deadline, so buyers will always get a rebate at any time as long as they meet the requirements.

I would always go for a discount as it is a lot more popular than a rebate. Discount can easily be gotten as it doesn't have a condition even attached to it
