Do crypto airdrops still matter in 2025?

Back in the day, airdrops used to be exciting. You'd get free tokens just for signing up or holding a coin. Now I see so many that feel spammy or not even worth the effort. I would say after Hamster airdrop everything airdrop related just went south. Are there still legit airdrops you trust? Have you earned anything good from them recently?
Or do you think airdrops are mostly a waste of time now?

Honestly, your observation is absolutely right. I have lost totally faith in airdrop but i still manage to still do the ones i joined. I want to see the end of few of them. Telegram bots mining brought a revolution about airdrop that turned soar and spamming users

There are lots of airdrops that disappoint their users, they are scams and only benefit themselves, looking for likes for their YouTube platform, however I still believe there are legitimate airdrops, especially airdrops sponsored or issued by well-known exchanges such as Binance and OKX.
