Someone opined that customers can get bored of patronizing a particular business after some time. Is this true? What can a business do to ensure that it's customers don't get bored and move to patronize competitors?

It is only a business they patronize and don't get satisfaction that causes them to change the dealer.Most customers don't like stressing themselves going from one place to another so they just stick to one brand that gives them satisfaction. They only go to other places that has better offer. Then there are some that always want to try any new shop that comes around.
Yes like recently i had to change where i normally do my customized mugs from cause recently the last 3 ones i did the colors where off and it caused a lot of issues with my customers.
