Some people like shortcuts. They want a big profit right away, so by all means they create something malicious that may harm his business reputation and himself. I have met someone who managed a business. His business was lucky for he had many customers but after some days, the people turned their back on that store. I have learned that the business owner added something malicious and against the health laws on his products like flour. He mixed the flour with corn grits and those who were in the bakery business experienced fluffing of their bread. They examined the flour and learned it's mixed with corn grits which is why cheaper in kilo. The store was reported and was sanctioned by the law, so instead of gaining, losing.

There is no shortcut when it comes to success. Most people feel working smart means by cutting certain areas, but in reality it is not.

Cutting corners in business by resorting to malicious practices can backfire severely. In the case you mentioned, mixing flour with corn grits led to legal sanctions and a damaged reputation, highlighting the importance of ethical business practices.

This is so bad!! Adulteration in food items is against the law. Yes the people who want to get money and fame in short period of time, definitely do something against the law and get caught at the end. They repent afterwards and lose their money and fame. I have seen lots people like this.

In business, hard work is essential but always must be in right direction. I did this mistake and I know it's negative impact. I was doing hard work just in arranging items and keeping record of items. Instead of going market and purchasing some attractive items.
