it's not uncommon for Nigerian politicians to have business interests and potentially seek stakes in companies

I think it's common for some politicians to want to have a stake in major businesses, but i don't know much details about it.
In my country, there are no politicians or officials who demand a stake in business, but business people will approach officials to get new projects.
I believe some politicians does this they stack money in business mostly the private business that is own by one person,it's what I have observe myself before but not with small scale business that just try to survive
