It is important to require the staff to acknowledge receipt of their salary to avoid conflict or misunderstanding. Here, a lot of companies already automatically transfer monthly salary to the staff's bank account. The transfer made have records. In this way, there is no need for the staff to sign a receipt.

A staff can easily accuse an organization of non payment. That's why they need to acknowledge that they have been paid each time they get paid.
I always signed that the salary is received by me and I include the date and amount. It is a standard procedure for keeping records in a business organisation.
