An organization has asked all the staff that just got paid to come sign a record book acknowledging that they have received their salary for that month. Is that really necessary? Why do think it is necessary to sign acknowledgement after getting your pay?

It is important to require the staff to acknowledge receipt of their salary to avoid conflict or misunderstanding. Here, a lot of companies already automatically transfer monthly salary to the staff's bank account. The transfer made have records. In this way, there is no need for the staff to sign a receipt.

In the event of any discrepancies or disputes regarding the salary, the signed record can be used as evidence
