Do you always ask payment method anytime you enter a shop to buy something?

I always find myself asking for the payment methods accepted anytime I enter any shop to buy something. That's the first thing I ask after ascertaining that the product or service I want is available. Do you ask about payment method in any shop you enter?

I only ask them if they accept bank transfers if i am not carrying any cash. In a situation where i am with cash, I don't ask.

I always do. That way you know you can be able to make payment with the available payment methods. If the payment methods available do not accommodate me i simply walk away.

Here, shops usually posted the labels of payment methods near the cashier, such as Visa, WeChat, Alipay, Octopus. There's no need to ask.

The customers already learned the method of payment either cash, GCash, Create card, Debit card or Account card. But most customers pay in cash. In my case, I mostly pay in cash to have accurate budgeting.
