Do you believe that it is actually lot easier to hide from the police than it is in the movies?

Many people, I believe, were inspired to believe that they would be far better at hiding and would never end up in jail or prison when they watched movies as children where criminals could be apprehended in a matter of minutes after the incident. I believe that if I committed a robbery, it would be simple for me to flee the nation or spend the night hidden in a different place and remain undetected.

No I think the movies makes it look a lot easier. In reality it would be harder.

In my country, it would be easier for you to hide from the police because seem to be clueless at their job. I don't think it is that easy in tier 1 countries.

I disagree that they are clueless. It huwst that they are unpatriotic and don't care about the populace. If you are rich or in power, they will swing into action. You will know they are effective once a police officee is killed or harmed, they will uncover the crime within few days.
