Many people see gambling as form of investment. In the other hand, gambling is considered as wastage of fund . But i have seen professional gamblers that do make staggering profits through gambling, does that make it a source of investment?
In your opinion, do you consider gambling as source of income or livelihood?

In the world of gambling, there are many actors involved such as players, bookies, owners of places, etc. So if you act as a player, it will be very detrimental and even make you poor. If you act as a bookie, it will also be profitable because most gambling systems have been designed for the bookie's victory. As a place owner, you can certainly be considered an investment because you get high rent. So for gamblers, it cannot be considered an investment.

If you will be the player, gambling definitely is not an investment. Yes, you can win at first, but there are times that you will lose, for sure. There are some who want to take back what they have lost by selling their properties.

In no book of investments, I have seen gambling as an option. It's not investment in any form or definition of financial investments. Investment does involve risks in some form and magnitude and it involves informed decision. People invest in various investments depending on their capacity and risk appetite. Gambling does not involve any informed decision. It's a sheer game of luck and involves a huge risk.

Gambling is one of the most stupid ways that people think they can make money. The art of making money is intentional and not luck based.
