Do you consider giving free water supply to the community enough corporate social responsibility from a five star hotel?

A five star hotel just opened around my neighborhood. And they have given free water supply to the community. Some people are saying that it is not enough for giving back to a community that hosts them. Free water supply: suitable give back to the society for a business of such magnitude?

The hotel has even tried to remember the host community. They can start with just the free water supply. The community should appreciate that.

I think that for a business of that magnitude, they should do more than just giving free water supply as CSR. That business is worth hundreds of millions.

It is freewill assistance, you will not compel the hotel management to do more than they want to do! Social responsibility is not mandatory or compulsory! We should learn how to appreciate little effort!

But they are doing some, poor or not they did something. Let them appreciate that and let God Judge them because at the end they are still benefitting from the water.there are some five star hotels out there that are not doing anything for the community at all.

How long has the five star hotel been running? If it is a new hotel, that's okay for a start. If it has been long in existence, then it is too poor.

Yes it is better than nothing but if they can do more then why not. it is always good to give freely if one can.
