Do you do delivery of products at your own cost or you split with the client/customer?

For a business that offers delivery services, do you always pay the transportation for the delivery from the business purses or you negotiate with the client about delivery costs.

If the transportation is something around 50 cents, I would pay out of the business pocket. Anything aside that, I negotiate with the customer to split the cost.

The organization that is my workplace incorporates delivery fee already into the cost of the products if you make an order.

Majority of the times i usually do the delivery at my own cost, or i split it with the customers without actually letting them know this. With time though, i plan on charging them for deliveries.

For me, it depends on where I am delivering to. If a dispatch rider has to deliver to the customer which implies that the place is far, the customer is paying for delivery.
