Do you force stop apps when they hang?

There are times that an app would just hang and completely refuse to move forward or backward. Do you wait for the app to unfreeze itself or you force stop the app immediately?

Is there any danger when we force stop apps that are hanging or freezing on our phones?

I usually wait for awhile, if notting happens, then my next step would be to force stop the app and start again.

It is not wrong to force stop apps. The option actually existed for it to be utilized when apps hang.

If I give the app ten seconds and it is not coming up, I would be left with no other option than to force stop it. And I close other apps too to free up resources for it.
