I don't know how it works for other localities but in mine, some people can just walk up to a person on the road and beg for money for one reason or the other.

Having to give to such people would be unplanned expenses. Do you give money to random beggars on the road?

I always give small change to beggars on the street, especially those who are disabled, pregnant women, or elderly. Although it is categorized as an unexpected expense, I will be happier if I can help others.
I won't give a dime to any person that begs money from me with the guise of being pregnant. Why would they get pregnant when they don't have any source of income?

I don't like giving money to beggars. I can actually count how many times I have given to beggars. I like to buy things poor people are selling
Even if I don't even need that thing and I see someone that is not privileged selling it, I would always want to buy because they desire to give value.

To be honest I don't always help, there are times where do, especially if I have more than enough money. The time where I am managing what I have I ignore them. It's annoying when some see me walking, then they start asking for money for transportation or food, am like if I had extra would I be walking right now?

It depends on the situation. Some beggars are part of a syndicate that uses children to beg on the streets. It’s often better to give food instead of money to avoid helping these syndicate members earn cash.
That's quite a another angle. They are always begging that they need food to eat. And because we don't carry food around, we give them cash.
