It's essential to build a good relationship with your staff. They will not be afraid to approach you, in case something malicious happen to your business. Some business owners build a bridge with their staff to mean dominance and status symbol as the boss. It should be noted that you need to think smart before you act or else, your staff lost their moral. Being in a good relationship with the staff means you're diplomatic and kind. The staff will always be loyal to you and work harder even without appreciation. That's the world of the good karma if you're good to your staff.

That's the right thing to do. it is good to try and have a good relationship with everyone around you even with your staff. Nothing wrong with it
Yes, that is right; there is also nothing wrong if bid a good friendly relations with your staff. The more they will work harder and appreciate you too without mental reservations.

At the moment i do not have any staffs working under me, but when i do, having a good relationship with them would be extremely important.

Our staff is like family members so they must be treated with respect and kindness. Our staff will remain loyal and supportive to us. They will try their best to retain the customers, This will be achieved if the workers are motivated because of the good relationship with the business owner.
