On almost al forums, you can earn credits. Some forums allow you to withdraw credits for fiat currency where as some have these currencies just as a decorative idea. It costs money to use add ons that helps you to create your forum currency. Therefore, I am thinking to use these credits for monetization purpose, what do you think I should do so that I can build revenue on my forums?

Forum site owners may not give rewards/credits to their members but if only the site is not used for monetization or making money in any way. But if the site is also monetized or used as a promotional site then it would be nice to give rewards, to provide enthusiasm and motivation so that the content is more complete.

I agree with you, site owners should do what would work for them so that they can grow their sites and also motivate their users

I don't have a forum, but I think it would be good to let new members withdraw once they get to the minimum withdrawal amount. This would help them know the site is legit.

The owners of an ancient Italian financial forum (it doesn't exist since the last January) gave rewards to their members despite their forum wasn't monetized. But they could afford the rewards, at least in the beginning (during the last years, they had reduced the amount). As their aim was the fame and the glory, they didn't complain to pay us from their own pocket. In any way, the aim depends on the choice of each webmaster.

I agree with you sis, every webmaster has their own goal, although it also depends on their financial condition, if the only goal is the fame of the site, and have a strong financial condition there is nothing wrong with webmasters giving rewards to their members.

Yes, sure! I remember various colleagues of mine, often wondering why the forum's owners didn't monetize their site, as it was a PTP forum. The reason is webmasters in Italy (as among various other European countries) are forced to submit themselves under a very cumbersome (and often very expensive) bureaucracy, to obey the Italian tax laws, forcing bloggers and webmasters who monetize their sites to open a cumbersome VAT. Such a VAT forces them to regularly ask for the expensive services of an accountant, if the blogger or webmaster has never studied subjects like economy, finance, commercial laws and tax laws (and the accountant services use to be very much more expensive that the rewards from ads). So they preferred to avoid that VAT, choosing to not monetize their forum. But they loved the forum's fame at the point to keep on rewarding us, until the forum existed.

Thankfully, we don't have complicated laws when it comes to make money from website. However, when we receive funds from advertisers, banks deduct 10 percent tax.
