Do you listen to the vocals or the beats when listening to your favourite music?

For me l like listening the worship songs. I could carefully follow along with the vocals and the beats together with the rhythm altogether.
What is your take?

I am a drummer, so most times I usually listen to the beat and the lyrics.

It depends on the song or music I am listening to as to whether I listen to the vocals or the beats. In most cases, I find myself listening to the beats as that was always something I was taught in music lessons I had so it comes to me naturally to listen to the beats.

I typically enjoy listening to the beats, especially when playing R&B or pop music. I prefer songs with great beats. It makes me want to dance. LOL

I listen to both. They need to be harmonized to make a good song.
