Do you necessarily need ring light to create monetized contents on TikTok?

My friend called me today and told me she can't monetize her TikTok because she doesn't use Ring Lights to create her TikTok contents.

Is it a must that TikToker must own a ring light to be able to create monetized contents on TikTok?

If your contents are indoors then yes you would need one, it helps make your content pop and as well brings out the details making it look more professional. Though that's not to say you can't create a content without one, but it's better to use one.
