Do you need to register right away?

For those of you who started a small business or side hustle , did you register it from day one, or did you wait until it started making money? I see a lot of people online running informal businesses, and I’m wondering if its okay to start without registering at first? In my country you don't need to register your business right away or you can even go on without registering it.

There are people that run businesses for years informally without registration. They don't just want to advance to another level.

If you have the money to register, then i think it's best to do so,for me though i have not registered my business yet tho.
