Do you prefer staking of crypto coins as your mode of making savings?

I have oftenly read from the internet, that making savings in form of crypto currency may be viable provided that you choose a crypto currency that have the potential for gaining up. What is your views according to this?

I always use the PoS mechanism to create passive income. Previously, I had staked Tron (TRX) since the coin was launched, but because the price dropped, I stopped. Currently, I am staking Cardano, Sol, Bonk, and Fun token.

I do stake my coins and but the dividends that use to be much due to the fact that the amount i use for staking is not much. Staking can be a viable means of savings if you have substantial amount to start it with.
