Some argue that high-quality graphics are important for immersing players in a game's world, enhancing storytelling, and creating a more engaging gameplay experience. On the other hand, some believe that gameplay mechanics and story should take precedence over flashy graphics.

It could be helpful as a promotion to video because this is the first thing that attracts a player before everything starts playing for example.

For me I prefer a mixture of both. Though if the graphics is not that good and the gameplay and story line most importantly is good, then I am good to go.
