When working on freelancing platforms, you are often required to share personal details such as:
  • Full name and address
  • Education
  • Employment history
  • Real profile photo
  • Links to your social media
Some affiliate networks also ask you to share information such as real name and address, bank details, etc. There are also earning sites where you are required to verify your identity. Do you think you really have to share your real information? While using real name, location or profile photo builds trust and increases your chances of getting hired, I do not think this should be mandatory
 
Yes this shouldn't be mandatory, but these platforms as well wants to be sure about who they allow use their platform, to help create a more safer environment.
