Yes i do patronize from my neighbors, as long as they have what i want and their service or products is good, i don't see a reason why i shouldn't patronize them.
Of course, I am also patronising the businesses of my neigbors but in the mall where my offline business is stalled, I only patronize the food business. I cannot patronise others, their products are not what I want.
God said, love your neigbors. It's crucial if you're indifferent to your neigbor incase of emergency they will not help you. Supporting their businesses is something they cannot forget but rather cherish?
I patronize my neighbour's and friend's business as long as they are giving a quality product and quality service. In fact I love to encourage people for their hardwork and good service. But if I don't find them worth the quality and price, I would not patronize them or recommend them to others. That puts my rapport at stake. Also, I can never compromise on quality.
Patronising the products of our neigbors make them feel happy and connected. It's essential to build connection and trust to our neigbors even if they are not doing businesses.
Every human community thrives on mutual support and give and take. And as such I am a big supporter of local goods and local small businesses in a big way. So, I make sure that if the local businesses meet my demand and quality, they are the first one to be preferred. Moreover, it has benefited me too. My side business of handmade arts and crafts have thrived with word of mouth advertisement and marketing. My close neighbours, friends and family have spread the word and got be the orders. So, it's like I support them and they do it to me, but no compromise on the quality on either side is the thumb rule.
