Do you really posses landline phones?

In the olden days we used to have some land line phones being used at home, offices among other public places. So what do you think we're the advantages of the land line phones?

Right now, you rarely see people make use of landline phones. Though there are some companies that use it but it's rare.

I have never even seen a landline phone with my naked eyes before. Talk more of owning one. I have just been used to mobile phones.
