Do you see the need to rename your phone Bluetooth and Hotspot to a custom name you like?

A smartphone's Bluetooth and Hotspot connection are always named the model of the phone. There is an option though to rename them to any thing you want it to be called.

I don't have the time to rename my Bluetooth name and WiFi Hotspot name. Doesn't make any difference for me.

Yes i always change the name, it makes it feel more unique to me alone, and it stops people from immediately knowing the phone am using when they connect.

I don't even remember to change the name of my Bluetooth from the phone model's name. It is not something that is major to do on my phone.

There is nothing wrong with renaming your Bluetooth and Hotspot. I hardly ever remember to do so on my devices.

I want to change the Bluetooth and hotspot names on my phone because the standard model name is so boring and lacks personality. Changing the name and giving it something unique makes my device easier to identify and adds a fun touch. When I'm with friends and everyone has their own hotspot turned on, the generic names are confusing, but when I have my own, it's much easier to connect. I once gave it a funny name and everyone wondered whose hotspot it was. That personal touch makes the phone more unique and reflects my personality.

Retaining the model name is very risky, everyone in the hotspot wifi range will know the mobile model, making it easier to hack the mobile or other Android device.

I have used more than 6 smartphones and three laptops in my life. And I have never renamed the Bluetooth or Hotspot.
