From the small or big earnings that you have from your work, business, investment, or online side kicks are you sharing or giving your beloved parents some portion of your income?

Our parents may not ask but for me, I experienced it when my dad was still alive giving him some thousands and he was smiling at me sweetly. He was hesitant to accept because he's a military official and have a huge salary, but I told dad that it's love and it's up to him on what to do with the money.

It's my happiness to share my family with what I earn. Money can't buy happiness but a facilitator of happiness.

In our Indian families parents don't accept money from married daughters. Therefore we give gifts which they can't deny.

Really? That is your culture, our culture is different though we can also give gifts and cash to parents. They feel happy and inspired.

I am not yet married and have no plans to do so. LOL. Even if I were married, I would still help them financially. I enjoy sharing my blessings!
I'm also single but when my dad was still with me, I showered him with gifts and cash. This time it's my sister who lives with me recipient of some blessings God gave me.

Nowadays things are changing. People have only daughters and they take the financial burden of their parents which wasn't allowed a few years back.

It's the same picture here the daughters are responsive to the needs of their parents. Their sons might have strict wives so they only share financial help secretly.

Fortunately for us, both sets of parents ( my parents and my in laws) are good with finances. They had good jobs and are getting enough pension to lead a good life. But they still give us gifts to pamper us. And it's the same way from our side. We give them some expensive gifts ir pay for the whole trip when we go oit as a family. When my father in law wanted to revamp and renovate the ancestral house, my husband gave a huge chunk of money to support him and do it really well. On my in laws 50th wedding anniversary, I bought a couple diamond ring for both of them from my savings .
We feel good to buy gifts for them or make them feel proud with such things. We don't have any financial obligations, but we do it out of our love for them.

We ought to love our parents. You're lucky you still have complete parents. My mom died when I was 4 years old and my dad died when I was a new graduate from the University 😞. If they're only alive, I'll give my all to them 😞.
