The present serves as the shadow of our past, a mortal past that doesn't like to separate from us. In our waking moment when we're alone, the shadow of the past continues to flash its scene where we feel broken and helpless.

Today and in the coming years, the shadow of the past remains fresh but it will gradually fade because of the heart's refusal to remember, it's only the memory eager to peep to tell the brain never to think again what was already buried and rotten.

Time heals the painful past but it doesn't go from our memory and peeps into our life. However we have to learn lesson from past pains.

That's true. We have to smash our painful past. It's nonsense. It's better to enjoy life and feel the freedom of loving again.

There are times where I do remember some things about my past I would rather not remember. It's not like I choose to but I just do. I simply take it as a reminder to be better, and make better choices in the future.

Although our hearts may eventually heal from the pain we experienced, the memory of it will always remain. There may be days when you recall those hurtful moments, even after you have moved on and forgiven the person responsible. This is natural, but what truly matters is that you have found the strength to let go and forgive.
