Do you stock an unpopular product for a small group of customers that always patronize it?

There are some products that might be unpopular but some few customers constantly patronize that product. It is now the decision of the business owner to stock such products or not.

Would you stock a particular brand or kind of product simply to hold some very few customers?

If this customers are consistent then I don't mind stocking up on this product. But just to be on a safer side, I won't buy it in large quantities.

In general, business owners or grocery stores hold inventory not because it is popular or not but the level of sales turnover on a product, if sales turn over is high then it will be used as the main stock.
