Yes i think it would affect their economy negatively, even traders in the forex market might be affected by this as well.

Yes, it will affect the economy of US. Raising tariff will increase inflation in the country. One of Trump's goals is to re-build manufacturing in the country. I'll wait and see. May be some manufacturers of high-end products will consider moving their manufacturing to US, but definitely not the low-end products.

I don't see Elon Musk becoming a trillionre soonest. He is becoming more of a nuisance than a businessman. He is been rejected by many good businessmen and will likely lose his business partners

As an international business person and a close ally of Trump, he should have better advised Trump to drop the tariff thing. He would surely be affected.
