The newest model of the premium Apple iPhones has been released. The new iPhone 17 is currently being sold at the price of $799 for the standard version. The other advanced variants of it are much more expensive. Do you think it is worth the price?

The iPhone 17 offers the latest in design, performance, and advanced features, but whether it's really worth the $799 depends on your needs and budget. For those looking for the best camera, power, and Apple ecosystem, it may be a good investment; however, if you just need a functional phone, there are cheaper options that perform very well.

Aside that from what I've just noticed, it results me that here in Italy the iPhone 17 costs on average €1300 (at least for the 512GB version) which translated into dollars would be $1526, so definitely more than $799.
Having said that, first of all you have to know that I've never been a fan of Apple phones (IOS) and so I never owned one before. Moreover to answer your question, as good and excellent as this device is now, the price is truly excessive. This is because in less than a year, from my knowledge, much probabily it will be worth less than half of that amount because it will be outclassed by a superior model (maybe iPhone 18 I say). So even if I had a lot of money I wouldn't buy it.
