As far as l am concerned, l am being aware that the US government has a higher hand in the regulation of the fiat currency, the us dollar. I am really wondering if that could really affect the bitcoin price movements for sure?

That's right, the impact of the US inflation index rate will greatly affect the capital market, crypto market and exchange rates of other countries, until now the USD is still used as a benchmark and global payment instrument.
I have realized that most people are really waiting to see what is being cooked and how things would turn out.
