Do you use generator for the power supply back up?

At times when there was power outages l remember we could use a diesel generator to back up the supply during black outs in the olden days. So what do you use to supplement the power in cases of electricity black outs?

No, we don't use generators now a days. We have invertors for the backups. Also the power cut off is very rare these days as compared to 25-30 years ago.

Almost everyone over here have generators. We do not have constant power supply, so we can only rely on a generator.

I do not have a generator since the power supply is reliable and I am mainly using phones, other devices which do not consume much electricity, have rechargeable batteries.
