Do you use multiple domains for your website?

Some people like to protect their brand, so they will try to use multiple domains for their website. For instance, if they are using dot com for their website, they will also try to get dot net, or other popular extensions. Have you ever done something like this? Well, I once had a couple of domains for my personal website, I was using dot com, dot info, dot net and dot xyz as well. However, later I dropped all domains except dot com.

If you want to build a brand and if you do not want other people to steal your brand name, you would certainly want to use multiple domains.

My domain name is only one keyword, so it doesn't require any other extensions. It'd also be very expensive to try and acquire the other domains/extensions for my name.
