I see so many people now talking about litecoin getting ETF approved by SEC. I bet you some people that I know have already bought lots of litecoin believing that it would get SEC approval for it's ETF.

What does ETF approval really do for the value of a crypto coin?

It can be a good indicator of a possible rise when the ETF is approved or when it is close to approval; likely the asset will rise a bit before the approval since the market always discounts expectations.

As you have been told in the previous comment, Ethereum has it and yet its price has not risen in value at all, so clearly I do not think it will benefit at all, at least as far as its value is concerned, as you are asking.
