Does proficiency in python and MySQL have any roles to play in site development and building?

I wanted to learn web designs and along the way, I got fascinated by python and MySQL which I have already taken up. I want to know if these skills that I am learning would have any application in the field of web design and management? How would it be applied?

It certainly helps but it not necessary. You can use open source platforms

For webdesign not much but for management is better. Best option for these set of skills is Big Data. You collect data with MySql from database and analyze it with Python. Later present it with charts and trends.

I think that MySQL is a statistical tool. It can be useful for site analysis but not necessarily for building. Python would really be useful for an AI based site.

MySql is database programming language. It is necessarily for any more complex website. You don't need it if you will just have landing page or some simple, static website.

Well, it's good you possess these skills but i do not think it's necessary in the field of web design.
