Brands chase engagement on social media. Let's take for instance, a brand is able to have 1000 likes on social media, does it make the official site of the brand to rank higher on search? What are the impacts of social signals on SEO?

For direct impact on SEO rankings, social signals don't have any effect. It has tremendous indirect effects though.
