Yes i believe it does have an effect when it comes to selling the site. The amount of traffic these contents can bring also determines the sales as well.

It depends on the type of content. My websites are exposing corruption, nepotism and fraud in the tech, internet sector so no one in the country is interested in purchasing the websites.
