Does withdrawing USDT using Binance Smart Chain Network make fees cheaper on Binance?

My friend just told me a trick that if one wants to pay less fees withdrawing USDT from Binance, they should use the Binance Smart Chain ass the network.

How true is that?

For me l have never tried out that venture before. I have in fact heard of something like that one day.

I think with BUSD this is true as it would save you fees, as far as I understand, with USDT I don't know for sure.

For me l have never used the Binance smart chain network to make a withdrawal. I am very used to the p2p withdrawal type of transactions.
