In some countries banks are giving paper receipts for term or fixed deposits which indicate the amount of money deposited and other details like maturity date, interest rate. Do bank users in your country get a receipt for the amount they deposit with the bank?
If you create a term deposit via mbanking by transferring your savings balance, you will not receive physical evidence such as a deposit book, but if you open a term deposit face-to-face with the bank's CS or offline, of course you will get a deposit book.
I usually do that via ebanking. Hence, no printed receipt. But I can always check the balance of my fixed deposit account online and take a screenshot.
