For some businesses, they don't like giving receipts for small transactions. But I feel it is a risk as issues can still arise with those transactions that are regarded as too small.

Does your business give receipts for every transaction regardless of the amount involved?

My business gives receipt only when the person demands it. Without demanding for the receipt, there is no need of issuing it because it will definitely end up in the dust bin. In my locality, most buyers don't demand for receipt except when they are doing the purchasing for an organization or someone who is always suspicious of other people.

It's exactly what state the laws dedicated to small businesses in my country. In any way such an option works only for services and goods sold to physical persons. Transactions between entities, even the smallest, require to be billed. In any way, in my geographic area, even entities bigger than mine don't work with receipts, despite such an attitude is against the tax laws. But they should pay cash instead of accepting credit or debit cards, or they'll be caught by the R.S.I.
